Upgrading MacBook Air with OS X Snow Leopard to macOS Sierra

MacBook Air Late-2010 supports the latest operating system - macOS Sierra. To upgrade to macOS Sierra, you will need to upgrade to El Capitan first.
To upgrade to El Capitan, from MacOs X Snow Leopard, follow these steps :
- Get El Capitan from App Store
- Click the Get button on the El Capitan page. This download will take 2-3 hours depending on the Internet speed.
- Once download is complete, Install El Eapitan opens automatically.
- Click Continue and follow the on-screen instructions.
- System will reboot when installation is finished.
- Follow the on screen instruction to complete the setup.
To upgrade to macos Sierra, from MacOS El Capitan, follow these steps :
- Open the App Store and click on Updates tab.
- Click the Download link on the updates tab to download macOS Sierra. This download will take 1-2 hours depending on the Internet speed.
- Once download is complete, installation for macOS Sierra begins automatically.
- Click Continue and follow the on-screen instructions.
- System will reboot when installation is finished.
- Follow the on screen instruction to complete the setup.
